Seats, armrests, door panels and other smooth interior surfaces.
Sofas, chairs, recliners, cushions and padded headboards.
Handbags, briefcases, wallets and other smooth leather goods.
Dress shoes, boots and other smooth, non-textured footwear.
Apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area to confirm material compatibility before beginning the full repair.
SIMPLE DIY APPLICATION
Work slowly and apply the filler in thin layers. Several light applications usually produce a smoother finish than one thick layer.
Remove dirt, oils and leather conditioner. Allow the area to dry completely before continuing.
Carefully remove loose or peeling material. Avoid enlarging the damaged area.
Spread a small amount into the scratch, crack or hole using a spatula. Keep the layer thin and even.
Allow each layer to air-dry before adding more. A hair dryer on low heat may be used from a safe distance.
Lightly sand the dried filler until smooth, then apply a matching leather color cream or paint.
BETTER RESULTS
Test on a hidden area first.
Use several thin layers for deeper damage.
Let every layer dry before reapplying.
Sand gently with fine-grit sandpaper.
Match the final color under natural light.
Avoid using excessive heat during drying.

I honestly thought the worn spot on my driver’s seat was too far gone. I applied the filler in a few thin layers, let each one dry, then lightly smoothed and recolored it. It isn’t factory-new if you inspect it up close, but the damage is far less noticeable and the seat looks so much better overall. Take your time with it and don’t apply too much at once.

Our sofa is still comfortable, but the cracked arm made the whole thing look old. I wasn’t ready to replace it, so I decided to try repairing it myself. The process took a little patience, especially matching the brown color afterward, but I’m genuinely pleased with how it turned out. The repair blends in well and saved us from buying another sofa.

I used this on the worn bottom corner of a black leather bag I’ve had for years. I only needed a very small amount, and after adding black color cream the scuffed area became much less obvious. You can still see a slight mark if you look closely, which I expected, but now I’m comfortable carrying the bag again.
